This data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. If you have iCloud enabled, your data is also synced across your devices via Apple's iCloud service.

Data Storage and iCloud Sync

All app data is stored locally on your device. When iCloud is enabled, your data automatically syncs across your iPhone, iPad, and Mac using Apple's iCloud service. This sync is handled entirely by Apple's infrastructure and is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

We do not have access to your iCloud data. You can disable iCloud sync for WhatList in your device's Settings under iCloud.

Link Previews

When you add a URL to an item, the app may fetch metadata (title, description, image) from that URL to display a link preview. This is a direct connection between your device and the website you're linking to. We do not proxy or store this data on any servers.

Share Extension

The WhatList share extension allows you to save content from other apps. This content is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to any external servers.

Analytics and Tracking

WhatList does not include any analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs. We do not track your usage of the app or collect any behavioral data.

Third-Party Services

WhatList does not integrate with any third-party services that collect user data. The app works offline and syncs automatically when you reconnect. Internet connectivity is used only for iCloud sync and fetching link previews.

Children's Privacy

WhatList does not knowingly collect any information from children. The app is suitable for users of all ages as it does not collect any personal information.
